Customer Demographic Data

Our proprietary video-based technology provides you with insight into the makeup of your customers’ demographic information.
Our patent-pending technology determines the gender, age, ethnicity and mood of your customer so you no longer have to guess about the makeup of your audience. DoorStat’s video-based software can understand the customer sentiment at any point of service or area of interest. Expression analysis can differentiate between any of the following moods – Happy, Surprise, Neutral, Angry, Sad, Afraid, Disgust – each helping highlight specific issues with service or any component of customer experience. Sentiments could be combined or simplified, as well. For example, a business may want the data to be represented as “Positive, Neutral, or Negative” for a given assessment. Such analysis can also serve as an automated exit poll or satisfaction survey, complimenting or replacing current methods to assess customer experience. Mood data can also be tied to specific demographics to show how sentiment shifts between gender, age, or ethnicity.
DoorStat has also had success combining it’s video-based software with mobile beacon technology. Beacons may pick up independent data points, such as wait times/dwell times, customer path within a location, or whether or not a customer has certain apps on their mobile device. While beacons allow for an expanded array of data collection and interaction capabilities, beacons are complimentary to DoorStat’s software in telling the full story. How many customers entered a place and how many mobile devices were detected by a beacon? How long did people wait in line before they became dissatisfied? Are there opportunities to improve customer service and satisfaction in real time?
